Former Noche To Reopen With A New Name and Look
Unfortunately Jack Rabbit Slims was not successful. This is the site of the former NOCHE bar. According to Matt Baumgardner, former owner of Noche, the club will eventually reopen with a different name and theme. Let's keep our eye on it. Their success is North Albany's success. Come down and support them.

My husband and I have a 3yo son - and though we love our Pine Hills nabe, we realize that we were in NYC too long - we're not so into the yard, mowing, weeding, etc. A loft is something that we'd like to explore a bit more (and we saw what happened with DUMBO - at least N. Albany is not UNDER an overpass!!!). I've noticed, though, that it's difficult to even get started - there's no info about loft suitable real-estate for sale in this area. I think if there was a more consolidated source of info - people would come!

Have you looked at the new lofts being built on Broadway? They are just off of Clinton Ave. and have a model to show. Other options are slow to come in the future, but one of the real estate companies is tracking sales.
